  Admission Criteria:	The candidate shall have passed the second year PUC examination conducted by the PUC board, Karnataka State (English) Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or any other examinations recognized as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with minimum 50% for general caste and 40% for category I, ST and SC in PCB.B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Chemistry, Botany and Zoology examination of an Indian University provided that the candidate has passed B.Sc examination and has secured at least 50% in any of two subjects studied at degree level and has passed the earlier qualification examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have passed the second year PUC examination conducted by the PUC board, Karnataka State (English) Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or any other examinations recognized as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with minimum 50% marks for general category and 40% marks for ST, SC category in PCB.

• The candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or by October of the year of admission.

• Candidates outside of Karnataka have to produce an eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences to get admission in the college.

Facilities and Infrastructure

Library is spacious and well stacked with rich collection of textbooks in various fields of medical sciences, national and international journals, magazines, and newspaper to enrich the knowledge of the students. library has separate reading rooms for boys, girls and staffs.
Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available. . It has a well-equipped computer lab that provides basic computer training. Classrooms are well ventilated and well equipped with latest teaching aids. Computer lab is enabled with internet connection to access the information and update their knowledge.
College has a museum which is considered as the biggest museum in any Ayurvedic Medical College not only in the state of Karnataka but also in throughout India.  It has a collection of over 300 dissected specimens, over 300 models from the fetus stage to its mature stage and over 10 set of skeletons. All the specimens are carefully prepared by the staff and students and displayed in a systematic manner.
College play ground is very big, which is capable of conducting athletic events. The sport facilities include 8 lanes of 400 meters athletic tracks, cricket, basket ball, volley ball, kho kho and indoor game facilities like badminton, table tennis, carom etc. The college encourages the students to participate in sports activities conducted by the university.
